Designation: Product Owner Trainee.
Type: 2 months paid Internship on live projects.
Location: Pune – on-site (flexible but limited remote online hours).
Opportunity: Paid Internship to learn, grow and be accountable at a startup environment.
Joining: 15th March 2022.
Role: Product Owner handling product and project management.
Product Owner Trainee Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for end-to-end launch of products.
2. Collaborating with business, market research, tech teams and customers to co-develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.
3. Working with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement for product-market fit & to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
4. Turning data insights into products with actionable outcomes to the ultimate customer.
5. Working in an agile environment to continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks.
6. Developing, owning, and executing product roadmap into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
7. Prioritizing and maintaining the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
8. Leading the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
9. Defining and executing go-to-market/roadmap plan, working to ensure that product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful.
10. Developing and maintaining appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.
Product Owner Qualifications & Skills:
1. Balance of technical engineering knowledge and business acumen understanding.
2. Customer first, ABCD thinking mindset and a hungry appetite to learn on the job.
3. Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
5. High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability.
6. Bachelor’s degree in engineering in electronics/electrical is an advantage but not mandatory.
7. Fresher’s with MBA degree (in progress or completion) with any certified product management & project management course is solicited.
8. A relevant work experience or live projects in Product Management and/or Product Development is an added benefit.
Remuneration: Stipend for the live internship is INR 5,000/- per month.
PPO: Yes, as per industry standard based on performance evaluation exhibited across a live internship of additional 4 months.
